We’re hiring a hands‑on leader to manage our customer service and keep our daily office operations running smoothly. This role is active, fast‑paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with customers while coordinating orders, inventory, and deliveries with our Operations Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers at the counter and by phone.
- Enter orders accurately and resolve issues quickly.
- Coordinate with yard staff on pulling, loading, and staging materials.
- Oversee daily delivery scheduling and adjust as needed.
- Handle escalated situations professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor performance by tracking metrics like response time, customer satisfaction, call quality, and ticket volume to spot trends and improve processes.
- Improve systems and workflow to identify bottlenecks and recommend new tools to make service smoother for both customers and employees.
- Collaborate across departments working with sales, products, operations, and leadership to relay customer feedback and fix recurring issues.
What You Bring
- Great customer service, balancing people skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
- Strong communication and operational thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
- Must be available most Saturdays (April-October 8:00 AM-12:00 PM).
- Familiarity with POS/order systems.
- Comfortable working around yard/warehouse operations.
Preferred: Landscape supply, building materials, or construction experience.
