Delivery Policy

 

When you place an order with us, we will make every effort to make sure you get the material you need when and where you need it. That being said, there are certain limitations on the services we can provide.

    • Each type of bulk product will require a separate delivery charge. Our trucks do not have any way of separating products in the truck bed, so to keep the products separate, each product will require a delivery charge.
    • We will call or email a confirmed delivery date. If your requested date is not available, we will notify you of the next available date. Weather, equipment, and a host of other obstacles can cause us to be unable to meet the required delivery time. Because of this, we are not responsible for costs associated with late or rescheduled deliveries. We will always try to keep the customer aware of delays and problems.
    • If you receive a missed call or message from us, please return our call so that we can deliver your product to you in a timely manner.
    • Delivery trucks must remain on solid surfaces and have a vertical clearance free from powerlines, branches, basketball hoops, etc. In addition, the weight of our trucks can cause cracks in driveways, sidewalks, and curbs. They can also crack or break water lines, gas lines, sprinkler systems, and cause damage to septic systems. If our trucks drive on soft ground, there is the possibility of ruts, tearing up grass and shrubs, or even possibly getting stuck. In the event damages occur to the property, the customer is responsible for all damages. In addition, if the customer requests delivery on a surface that is not solid and our truck or equipment gets stuck, the customer is responsible for the cost of removing the truck and equipment.
    • We encourage you to place a marker (bucket, tarp, flag, etc.) where you would like the product dumped. However, this is not a guarantee that the product will be dumped there. Product will be dumped in the safest and most convenient location at the discretion of the delivery driver.
    • To help make sure we get your delivery correct:
        • Use “House end of driveway” if you would prefer the product dumped on your driveway near the house.
        • Use “Street end of driveway” if you would prefer the product dumped on your driveway near the street.
        • Use “Right” or “Left” as if you were looking at your house from the street.

Cancellation Policy

    • Customers may cancel their delivery at any time. Please call 937-882-6115 or email info@madrivermulch.com
    • If the cancellation occurs before the delivery date a full refund will be given.
    • If the cancellation occurs on the requested delivery date, it will be subject to a charge of 50% of the delivery fee. This includes deliveries where we are unable to access the property, are turned away, or the customer is not available.
    • Cancellation due to weather will not incur a charge.
